Well of all the people I hope to one day interview, Bruce Willis is NOT on my list. Not after watching this interview anyway; I doubt I'd be able to articulate at all on account of being a quivering mess in his intimidating presence. Perhaps he's just a bit jaded, or a bit grumpy in general - I guess that's okay - but man is he a difficult one to banter with. The very lovely Jamie from Magic does his absolute best to motivate Mr Willis, but sadly the shiny-headed actor would be happier to be stuck in traffic on the M1 than have to endure another over enthusiastic interviewer.
It's always a shame when the actors you imagine meeting turn out to be dryer than the Serengeti but perhaps it's true what they say; never meet your idols. Then again, I met Johnny Depp yesterday and he was AWESOME so it's not always the way. More to come on that in the morning.
Oul Brucey either needs a kick up the arse from his publicist or some giggle-inducing beverage. He's done his job, making the movie, but it's not over 'til they've done the press work too. And God knows they get paid enough too; we're just doing our job as interviewers, to help your movie make money, so give us a bleedin' break!
At least he's far better on screen; check out Red 2 on August 2nd.
