If you weren't excited for X-Men: Days of Future Past before, now you should be.

Bryan Singer, director and maestro behind getting the Marvel superheroes to the big screen, just tweeted out the link to the second official trailer for the upcoming film and we get to see a whole lot more of the dystopian future that mutants and mankind alike are struggling through thanks to the Sentinels created by Peter Dinklage's Bolivar Trask, as well as all our heroes in two different time periods.

Starring Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan and a slew of returning and now famous actors to their X-Men roles (here's looking at you Halle Berry and Ellen Page), Days of Future Past will see characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class in 'an epic battle that must change the past to save our future'.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is set for release on May 23. And we'll be front and centre.
