The simply lovely new trailer for Ben Stiller's The Secret Life of Walter Mitty has just dropped online.
The movie is based on a short story by James Thurber which was first adapted for the silver screen in 1947. This latest version not only stars but was also directed by Stiller, a move that will surely attract fans of his previous endeavors which include the hugely successful Tropic Thunder and cult classic The Cable Guy.
However, Walter Mitty looks to be a slight departure from his previous work. The title character is a mild-mannered proofreader who survives his hum-drum life by entering a make-believe world full of adventure.
When his job and the job of the object of his affection (played by Kristen Wiig) come under threat, Walter decides to bite the bullet and take off on a real-life adventure. High-jinks inevitably ensue over a wide plain of scenarios and it looks like this movie, if nothing else, will be a real feast for the eyes.
