Affleck plays Christian Wolff, a maths genius who struggles to connect with people and who comes to work as a freelance accountant for some of the world’s deadliest criminal organisations.
While under the investigation of the Treasury Department’s Crime Enforcement Division, headed by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), Christian takes a job working for a robotics company.
There an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) starts to suspect him.
They've got a great cast lined up for the feature which aside from Affleck, Kendrick and Simmons, also includes Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey Tambor, and John Lithgow.
Helmed by Gavin O’Connor, the director of Warrior, and written by Bill Dubuque (The Judge), this could just be the next big thriller.
The Accountant hits Irish cinema on November 4th.
