And you thought your fear was bad.
We've all probably been guilty of being a drunk monster at least once in our lives but Anne Hathaway is taking that quite literally in 'Colossal'. Billed as a sci-fi action film, 'Colossal' sees Hathaway unwittingly being responsible for a series of Godzilla-style attacks in Seoul that happen whenever she's blackout drunk and follows her as she tries to figure out what the hell is going on.
We'll admit it's a bizarre premise but if it lets Hathaway flex her comedy chops, we're on board.
Here's the official synopsis:
After Gloria (Anne Hathaway) loses her job and is kicked out of her boyfriend’s apartment, she leaves her life in New York and move back to her hometown. When news reports surface that a giant creature is destroying Seoul, Korea, Gloria gradually comes to the realization that she is somehow connected to this far-off phenomenon. As events begin to spin out of control, Gloria must determine why her seemingly insignificant existence has such a colossal effect on the fate of the world.
'Colossal' is yet to receive a release date in Ireland but is set for release in the US on April 7th.
