You didn't really ask for it and chances are you could probably care less, but there's going to be a direct remake of the fun 2002 horror flick, Cabin Fever.
Original director and writer Eli Roth (he was also the Bear Jew in Inglorious Basterds) will return to produce the film that will apparently use the same script. Makes sense, no wait, no it doesn't...
Roth spewed to The Wrap, "Travis (Zariwny) had an amazing vision for my original script, and as a scary movie fan I really wanted to see it. I almost see this like re-staging a play, and I'm excited to see what ideas Travis and the cast bring to it. They're all fans of the original and want to make a film that's a new classic and I believe they will."
The re-staging of a play comment is interesting, but does it mean we'll get to see anything different?
Roth is best known for the Hostel movies as a director and has 'Femme Fatal' thriller, Knock Knock in post production. He also produced the Netflix series, Hemlock Grove.
