You can't talk about Fast & Furious series without talking about the cars. They play such a central role in every film and they look and sound absolutely incredible. Here's five of our favourites...
5. MUSTANG NISMO / THE FAST & FURIOUS: TOKYO DRIFT
The Mustang Nismo, which isn't an actual car but rather purpose-built for the film, represents what F&F is about: the meshing of American muscle cars and Japanese speedsters. Made from the body of a 1967 Mustang and the running gear of Nissan Silvia, it features heavily in Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift and really does look fantastic.
4. NISSAN SKYLINE GT-R R34 / FAST & FURIOUS
Skylines were a popular marque, but the film series really popularised them and turned them into the must-have for speed enthusiasts. The Skyline GT-R range is the basis of Nissan's racing credentials and featuring it in a film series about Japanese-made cars is a no-brainer.
3. LEXUS LFA / FAST FIVE
Lexus are known as a luxury brand, so choosing the LFA for one of the final sequences in Fast Five after a successful heist, seems the logical choice. After all, you've stolen a ton of money and you're driving off into the sunset with an Israeli supermodel literally wrapped around you as you drive. Why wouldn't you drive one of the most expensive supercars ever made?
2. GURKHA LAPV / FAST FIVE
Of course The Rock would drive something like this. It's an armoured truck capable of hitting speeds of over 100 miles an hour and is only available to private security forces. Fancy buying one for yourself? Have you got €600,000 to spare? Didn't think so.
1. DODGE CHARGER / THE FAST & FURIOUS
Dodge Chargers are synonymous with car movies and TV shows. The Dukes of Hazzard? Dodge Charger. Bullitt? Dodge Charger. And here, with the first Fast & Furious film, Vin Diesel's character had, stored away in a garage, a 1970 Dodge Charger with a ridiculous-looking prop bolted onto the bonnet. The Charger just radiates cool and in sleek black with a leather trim, these cars are the very essence of American muscle.
