There’s a lot of high expectation for the new ‘Bumblebee’ movie starring Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena. Some think it’s going to be the best ‘Transformers’ movie ever.
The second official trailer features a first look at classic-style Transformers Shockwave and Soundwave, and sees the return of Optimus Prime.
Twitter reactions online have been totally acknowledging how the nostalgia overload is luring them in, but they are all here for it.

Now, I've been pretty much nonplussed about the Transformers film franchise. It's all very high tech & sparkly, & spangly, & stuff, so also wasn't fussed about the standalone 'Bumblebee' film.
*watches new trailer*
THAT 'Soundwave/Ravage' snippet & I'm 8 years old again.

Fucking hell....the new Bumblebee Trailer.....Wow. I'm actually excited for a Transformers film. Seems the director actually followed Transformers lore, studied past incarnations of the characters and made them look awesome, and that's just for the war on Cybertron scenes

"Hello everyone, this is Hasbro. We're really, really sorry about the last two... possibly even four... Transformers movies. By way of apology, please accept all of the fanservice." #Bumblebee https://t.co/s47Bqnf59d

Mind you, some movie goers are still apprehensive (which is understandable given this is 'Transformers' we're talking about)
I feel like the new Bumblebee trailer is a trap.
I feel like this is how every Transformer movie goes. The second trailer gives folks hope and tricks them into going into the theaters only to be disappointed
Don't fall for it

I don't care how good the Bumblebee Trailer looks or how good the movie is, after The Last Knight; I'm done with Transformers. 🤷

The first trailer for the movie dropped back in June, where comparisons between it and 2D animated classic ‘The Iron Giant’ were first made.
The plot synopsis reads:
“On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.”
There was going to be a sixth ‘Transformers’ movie, but this has been dropped from Paramount’s schedule.
‘Bumblebee’ lands in Irish cinemas on December 26th.
