The US remake of 'Troll Hunter', the cult Norwegian fantasy mockumentary, has finally got a director. Neil Marshall, who previously directed The Descent and Dog Soldiers, has signed on to write and direct the remake.
Marshall has more recently worked on hit TV series Game of Thrones, directing the penultimate episode of Season 2, Blackwater.
It's all very early stages yet with no word on casting or if it's going to be set in Norway or somewhere else, but we're hoping it'll have the original's sense of humour and knowing nods to Jurassic Park and other films.
