Tom Hardy has spoken to Total Film on the set of The Dark Knight Rises, and gave away some titillating information on where exactly his character, bad guy Bane, will go to.
On being offered the role by Christopher Nolan Hardy said to the helmer, "‘Hang on a minute. You’re asking me to come round the world with you in a Batman movie, playing a villain, and the only downside to it is I have to wear a mask? Hmmm, let me think. I’ll get back to you… No, I’m f**king there, man! Anything you need.’" He also revealed his own thoughts on his fanboy favourite character, "I think Bane’s f**king cool so I’m really excited to play him. It’s not the guy in Joel Schumacher’s film, but it shouldn’t disappoint fanboys." He did reveal some minor spoilers, or actually just fail to deny a massive one about a fight with Batman, that I won't go into here.
The film is due for release next summer, while Hardy has the much buzzed MMA movie Warriors due next month sometime also.
