The buzz on the Tom Hardy/Joel Edgerton Mixed Martial Arts film Warrior, has now reached brimming point.
Pride and Glory writer/director Gavin O'Conner helmed the film, and respected critics and bloggers alike are now raving about it ahead of its US release next month. The Hollywood Reporter's Todd McCarthy calls it "compelling," Variety's Joe Leydon "An improbably effective and affecting mix of raw emotions and exciting smackdowns," while Drew McWeeney from Hitfix.com commented that he "loved it" on his twitter feed. A bunch of people have also sent in reviews to the once mighty Aintitcoolnews.com and every one of them has been ecstatic, with Rocky name checked on numerous occasions - in favourable comparisons.
The film is released in the US on September 9th and here in Ireland on the 23rd of the same month. Really looking forward to it.
