'Joker' is due to hit cinemas this Friday. Since early reviews, it's become one of the most highly anticipated films of the year.
Joaquin Phoenix plays Arthur Fleck, who becomes the Joker, in the movie. He is said to have given such a raw, deep performance that he could be in with a chance of Oscar glory.
Phoenix appeared on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' last night to talk about the movie.
The actor spoke of losing weight for the role, his family coming to the premiere and dancing.
What he didn't expect was for the talk show host to pull out an outtake from the movie, sent to him by director Todd Phillips. It doesn't exactly paint the actor is the best light as he is seen cursing and bickering with the cinematographer Larry.
And somehow Cher was part of the argument.
After the clip finishes, Phoenix definitely looked embarrassed and explains:
"Look, sometimes movies get intense because you're a lot of people in a small space and you're trying to find something. So it can feel intense.
"But it was supposed to be private, I'm a little embarrassed, I'm sorry about that. Sorry you guys had to see that. It's not Larry's fault."
Check it out.
