The first trailer for A24's new slasher 'Bodies, Bodies, Bodies' has landed.
The movie stars Amandla Stenberg ('The Hate U Give'), Maria Bakalova ('Borat Subsequent Moviefilm'), Myha’la Herrold ('Industry'), Chase Sui Wonders ('Generation'), Rachel Sennott ('Shiva Baby'), Lee Pace ('Foundation') and Pete Davidson ('Saturday Night Live').
The plot centres around a young woman (Stenberg) who introduces her friends to her new girlfriend (Bakalova) by hosting a house party. However, the night takes a turn after a dangerous party game. The group then quickly have a blood-soaked murder mystery on their hands.
The trailer is filled with Gen Z tropes and fast-paced comedy, showing the film is definitely a horror movie for the ages.
Dutch filmmaker Halina Reijn makes her English-language directorial debut. The film first premiered at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival in March, where it received generally positive reviews.
Sarah DeLappe wrote the script for the film. Ali Herting and David Hinojosa produce. Stenberg, Sebastian Bear-McClard, Dani Bernfeld, Sarah DeLappe, Christine D’Souza Gelb and Jacob Jaffke executive produced.
