A few months ago we were given a trailer for the upcoming 'Bob's Burgers' film. Now, we've got yet another, just as ridiculous and confusing as the last
The new trailer features pretty much all the silliness of the first but with seemingly even less context, which is just what we want going into a feature-length film of the much-loved show. Context doesn't really matter here, we still get that warm fuzzy feeling of a good episode of 'Bob's Burgers'.
A giant sinkhole has opened up in front of the restaurant and the Belcher kids are looking to get to the bottom of the mystery. In the trailer, we're not short on the ridiculousness we've come to expect from the show. We see Tina on horseback, a giant robot, Linda dressed as a bikini-clad burger, a UFO and some sort of stuffed animal army. So the plot is not all that clear as of yet. Apart from the fact that Bob is definitely in some sort of financial trouble.
'The Bob’s Burgers Movie' was first announced back in 2017. The animated series, created by Loren Bouchard, began airing in 2011. It is currently nearing the end of its 12th season. The series has earned two Primetime Emmy awards for outstanding animated program over its run, in 2014 and 2017.
The Emmy award-winning show spanning 227 episodes had the movie delayed twice due to COVID related issues.
The movie will star the original voice cast of H. Jon Benjamin, Kristen Schaal, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman and Larry Murphy. Bouchard and Bernard Derriman co-direct.
