The event, which would have been staffed and run by women and was made open only to women, was such a threat to some people that an actual lawsuit was filed for discrimination. Yes, really. Anyway, fast forward to now and there's another possible lawsuit on its way, except this time it'll be against clowns.
The Alamo Drafthouse are planning a clowns-only screening for the release of Stephen King's It, with the event has already become so successful that two more screenings had to be put on.
An entire cinema, filled with clowns and balloons. That's not terrifying. Not terrifying at all.
