Christ, they really will make a movie about anything these days. The Only Way is Essex will be hitting the big screen. Which, y'know, means Tallafornia won't be long after it. Imagine, we thought the idea of Lindsay Lohan turning her hand to directing would mean the death of cinema, but perhaps this would be the final nail in the coffin.
According to The Sun, an Essex themed movie is absolutely in the works. What's more, they're moving the trials and tribulations of Joey Essex and pals off to Dubai for the purposes of the film.
Insiders reveal: "There have been rumours of a TOWIE film for a while but bosses have now finally talked to the cast about it... They said that while they are currently concentrating on the new series later this month, the film is something they want to do and it could even kick off as early as this summer... Dubai would be the perfect place as it is the current hip destination for young Essex boys and girls, and it would be a great sunny location to film in... It would be more structured than the series, but it would still be about the real stories of the cast and finding out what is going on in their lives."
With filming rumoured to begin in the next few months, it's probaby best you avoid the United Arab Emirates in and around that time. All that melting fake tan? No thanks.
