Paramount are planning to kill you with nostalgia as they move forward with plans to create a Nickelodeon crossover movie.
Said movie would be the 90s cartoons equivalent of The Avengers with characters from Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life. Aaahh! Real Monsters and The Angry Beavers all set to share the screen.
The project is going ahead under the working title NickToons and is said to be Paramount's answer to Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Whether or not that means we're likely to see a blend of live action footage and animation in the film remains to be seen.
Husband and wife writing team Jared and Jerusha Hess are working on the script as we speak. You might remember Jared Hess' previous work. He was the man calling the shots behind the camera for cult comedy Napoleon Dynamite and also the Jack Black starring Mexican wrestling film Nacho Libre.
