In news that will warm the cockles of moviegoers everywhere, Disney is moving forward with a sequel to The Muppets reports Darkhorizons.com via Variety.
Jason Segel will come back to star, but the actor is far too busy to co-script again, with director James Bobin and writer Nicholas Stoller returning. There's no word on Amy Adams coming back, but the Muppets sure as hell will be. The film did solid business worldwide after scoring almost unanimously positive reviews; I would expect it to do extremely well on DVD too.
Loved the first film and hopefully they can recapture a bit of that magic again.
