The teaser trailer for 'Soul' gives us a minute of the upcoming Disney Pixar flick. And it looks magical.
Set in New York City, the main character is a middle school music teacher named Joe Gardener. Voiced by Jamie Foxx, Joe dreams of being a jazz performer. However an accident forces his soul away from his body.
He is transported to the “You Seminar,” an ethereal center where souls are refined before being sent off to human bodies. There he meets 22 (voiced by Tina Fey), a soul with a bleak outlook of life on Earth.
The voice cast also includes Questlove, Phylicia Rashad and Daveed Diggs.
Pete Docter - who has already directed 'Monsters Inc', 'Up' and 'Inside Out' for the studio - is at the helm, so we've a lot of reason to have high hopes.
The animated feature hits Irish cinemas on 19 June, 2020.
