The bestseller 'Artemis Fowl', as previously announced, is making its way to the big screen.
Irish author Eoin Colfer penned the 'Artemis Fowl' series. In the first book, the titular twelve-year-old tries to uncover a powerful, hidden race of fairies as they may be behind his father’s disappearance.
Judi Dench is playing Commander Root, the steely leader of the fairy police force. Josh Gad will play Mulch Diggums, a kleptomaniacal dwarf who works for the fairies.
Furthermore, an Irish newcomer named Ferdia Shaw plays Artemis.
Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the screenplay is by Conor McPherson.
