Special announcement for those of you who can't get enough of inspirational rags to riches type true stories about real people with talent: there WILL be a Susan Boyle biopic.The Britain's Got Talent success story confirmed the news herself to the PA, telling them to "watch this space".
She said: "There are plans in operation for that, but that's for later on."
The proclamation comes off the back of the release of One Chance, the Paul Potts biopic starring James Corden.
So which loveable character actor could play the Scottish songstress? Your guess is as good as ours but Boyle has previously expressed interest in Julie Walters playing her in a film of her life. We're thinking it would be a good role for Cate Blanchett to really sink her teeth into.
We will wait with baited breath but until then we can have our Susan Boyle fix in the form of a charity Christmas single that will feature none other than Elvis Presley. Her festive album Home for Christmas, on which the single will feature, will be released in November.
