Steven Spielberg is looking likely to direct a big screen epic on the life of Moses, Gods and Kings, reports Deadline.com.
Spielberg has been very busy lately and currently has two (equally mundane) flicks currently in your local multiplex - Tintin and War Horse. More excitingly, he just wrapped principal photography on his aptly titled Abraham Lincoln biopic, Lincoln, starring Daniel Day Lewis in the lead role. He hasn't made a good film since Munich and is getting surprisingly lax in what TV and movie productions he attaches him name to. Going biblical? Could be a lot of fun; but he's also been talking up science fiction epic Robopocalypse which he may do next before Gods and Kings - that is if a deal is closed.
You're turning into Tim Burton, Steve, and you're better than that. Although Day-Lewis and Lincoln is a mouthwatering prospect under any director.
