If you're avoiding spoilers for 'Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker' and you like a good reveal, probably best to keep away from this clip altogether.

It's not that it reveals some major plot point, but it does feel like a fairly big one. Put it this way, it's enough for us to think that maybe people wouldn't want to know the context of it from a headline or a header image. See how we're looking out for you? Didn't even have to ask, so you didn't.

So, we'll live in a couple of pauses to let anyone who's clicked on this by accident to click away.

So, what's going on in the clip? By all accounts, it looks like a truncated version of what appears in the movie and sees Kylo Ren flying his TIE Silencer to what looks like some kind of temple / graveyard that's guarded by giant statues that look quite similar to the Emperor. Our guess? It's a Sith temple.

So, Ren whips out his lightsaber and is clearly there to mess some shit up when a voice-over begins to taunt him, telling that him that "...at last, my boy, I have been every voice you have ever heard inside your head," as it changes from the voice of the Emperor, to Supreme Leader Snoke and finally to (gasp) Darth Vader.

There's been endless leaks / rumours that Darth Vader or Anakin Skywalker was going to play a role in 'Rise of Skywalker', and this definitely seems like pretty good confirmation. As we previously mentioned, this is likely a severely cut-down version of what we'll see in the movie, and seeing it without context doesn't really tell us a lot. Is Kylo Ren there to destroy the temple? Is he being drawn there by the Emperor? Was the Emperor behind the First Order and Supreme Leader Snoke all along?

All this and much more will be answered when 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' hits Irish cinemas next week on Thursday, December 19th.

Here's the clip.
