News this month has been tense for Spider-Man fans. Disney and Sony had a fallout over the web-slinging hero, though at least Tom Holland was secured for the role.
Fortunately all is well for superhero fans again as the the two studios have come to an agreement about Spider-Man.
The alias for Peter Parker will appear in a sequel to 'Far From Home'. After that the character will have one more MCU appearance.
"I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it,” said Marvel honcho Kevin Feige. "Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold.”
The threequel even got a release date: July 16, 2021.
There’s currently no word on exactly which future MCU film that Parker will appear within.
The intra-studio partnership between Disney and Sony commenced in 2015. It produced two box office smashes in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' and this summer’s 'Spider-Man: Far From Home'. But the co-parenting deal fell apart shortly after the release of the latter.
The terms of the new deal were not revealed but who cares?? All is right in the world again.

The news comes hot off the back that Sony is developing another Spidey spinoff; this one will follow Madame Web.
