It did not come cheap…
The mini bike from Dumb and Dumber, the cult comedy starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, has been sold to one very happy customer.
In the 1994 film, Lloyd (Carrey) and Harry (Daniels) travel on the impractical vehicle to Aspen. You can see a clip where they use it below.
The hog, which was one of two used in the film (specifically in all the close-up riding scenes with the lead actors) was sold by a man in Houston on eBay for $50,000 after an opening bid of $8500. The money will go towards his child’s college fund.
Its new owner is Todd Lyons from New York, who has been a fan of the film since he saw it with his friend when he was 13 years old. He intends to have the bike proudly displayed on his wall.
Hopefully that doesn’t turn out to be a dumb idea…
