Empire is reporting that David R. Ellis, director of Snakes on a Plane, is to next helm a mental sounding "reimagining" of Humpty Dumpty. The film will see a half human, half alien creature go on a killing spree, after a bunch of rednecks kill his mother. Not only will it be gory as hell, it will also be in 3D - which would make it pretty much the perfect Friday night movie for folk who don't like to think about what they're watching. Ellis also directed Final Destination 2, and the awful Cellular - we think the man may have been born with his tongue pressed against his cheek.
