With all the recent talk about what comic books characters are going to be given on-screen adaptions in the near future, it's pretty easy to forget that we already have a whole heap of superhero films out there, one of which is still the highest grossing film of the year, and there's been a small child worth of information leaked about the next installment.
Yeah, Captain America is still the year's biggest film, despite Guardians of the Galaxy inching ever closer to surpassing it, and seemingly nobody has told the Russo brothers, who are back in the directing chair, to keep quiet.
They've let slip that the film will begin shooting in April 2015, in Atlanta, and the scriptwriters from the last two installments, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, will return. They actually already handed in their first draft.
The film will see the return of the Winter Soldier, and will explore the character far more than in the previous film, while Frank Grillo's character will become the villain Crossbones.
Unfortunately, the pair stopped short of giving us the title of the film, and wouldn't confirm if Jeremy Renner or Scarlett Johannson will appear. Guess they have to leave a little bit to the imagination.
