While we're all wondering whether Sam Mendes would return to direct another James Bond, what we do know is that Skyfall's writer will certainly be penning the next script. So you can expect to remain true to the tone achieved with Skyfall. As per The Daily Mail, John Logan who wrote Hugo will be the only writer working on the 24th installment of the franchise. Logan wasn't the only person working on Skyfall however - in fact he was brought in to re-write a screenplay from Neal Purvis and Robert Wade who have since decided their done with Bond. Obviously, given all the 'best Bond yet' claim that Skyfall's been receiving, he did a stellar job. With Skyfall hitting cinemas just today, production is said to be already under way with plans in place ot begin shooting at Pinewood Studios around this time next year ahead of an Autumn 2014 release.
