Oscar winning British actor Sir Ben Kingsley is reportedly in talks to join the cast of Iron Man 3 as the main villain, says Variety.
There are rumours about the character he'll play, with the much rumoured baddie and fan favourite, Mandarin being mooted as a possibility since the first flick, but nothing is confirmed. The very ace writer/director Shane Black has taken over helming duties from Jon Favreau for this one, in only his second time out as director after he reignited Robert Downey Jr's career with the brilliant Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
The Avengers, ostensibly headlined by Tony Stark, is due out in a couple of weeks with Marvel pushing forward with sequels to Captain America and Thor also. If Avengers goes down well then expect spin-offs featuring The Hulk and Hawkeye
