Simon Pegg might just have let a bit of information slip about a surprise cameo in Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
Pegg was promoting his latest movie Man Up, and during the red carpet interviews at the premiere, he was asked about his rumoured role in the upcoming Star Wars movie. Pegg was quick to dismiss it, but might have accidentally given away the identity of another big Hollywood star who will be appearing.
Speaking to a reporter from The Sun, he said "I wasn't a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a Stormtrooper", before quickly adding "I shouldn't have said that".
Pegg's official Twitter account (the actor himself no longer has a personal one) has since retweeted journalist and presenter Aaron Sagers who stated that he was joking about the Craig reference, but it has been rumoured for a while that Bond himself had a small role in the movie.
Entertainment sites have created a beat out of turning @simonpegg jokes into casting news. BTW I heard Daniel Craig was cast as Ant-Man

According to A. Source (this guy, again! Where does he get all this exclusive, highly secret info?) apparently the James Bond star "asked for some sort of secret cameo role - and was happy to have his name left off the posters. Fans will love trying to work out which covered up character is him". Yeah, that all sounds legit.
