Simon Pegg has begun shooting the film, A Fantastic Fear of Everything, in the UK with former Kula Shaker singer Crispian Mills directing from his own script.
The film centres on a chap who researches Victorian serial killers for work, and becomes so embroiled in his job he becomes terrified of everything around him - afraid someone will off him too. The film has a relatively small budget of just under $5 million, which must be a change from Pegg's last shooting experience - the mammoth budgeted Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.
According to Variety, Amara Karan, Clare Higgins, Sheridan Smith and Alan Drake join Pegg in the production.
