Latino Review got the scoop on who'll be Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes 2. It will be Jared Harris, son of the late, great, Richard Harris and "resident Brit" Lane Pryce in Mad Men.
There were apparently rumblings linking both Colin Farrell and Daniel Day Lewis (not bloody likely) with the part, but they obviously never materialised. Girl With The Dragon Tattoo star Noomi Rapace and Stephen Fry have recently been cast, as the love interest and older brother.
Harris is great in Mad Men, and seems a random choice for the part. That said, casting a relative unknown certainly has its perks.
