Seven writer Andrew Kevin Walker has penned a script called Psycho Killer, that Eli Roth is going to produce.

According to Variety, the film will centre on a masked killer who murders a highway patrolman, with his wife as the only witness to the crime. She then spends all of her time after the murder trying to track down the man who killed her husband and is leaving a trail of bodies across America. Roth told the trade paper: "When people read the name Psycho Killer from the creators of Seven and Hostel, they know they are in for an intense ride, but one that will be smart and original."

Long-time producer Gavin Polone is making his directorial debut on the project, which sounds more intriguing for the involvement of Walker than anything else. Hopefully Polone has the chops to bring his script to life. Roth just produced the surprisingly enjoyable The Last Exorcism.
