It's been reported that 2013 Oscar host Seth MacFarlane has been asked to return once more in 2014. But, if you remember correctly, he said there was no way he'd ever return. Though I personally found his performance largely enjoyable - he can certainly put on a show and hold the attention of a room full of superstars - the general consensus was divisive. People either loved him or hated him.
As per Just Jared, a source/pal to the Family Guy creator said: "After defending his performance, the producers reached out to Seth and invited him back to host the show again... He's not sure if he's going to do it, but he has to decide within the next couple of weeks."
