As well as being credited as one of three screenwriters on Deadpool 2, Ryan Reynolds is pretty much a one-man marketing machine for the film and has even turned up on the likes of Stephen Colbert, Match Of The Day and even tried to airdrop into Eurovision.

And while Deadpool is obviously his defining role, it turns out he had another on-screen role that wasn't nearly as well publicised as his main role. Which role, you ask? Let's leave a few dots here for people who haven't seen Deadpool 2 yet.

Still here? OK, then. So, it turns out that Ryan Reynolds voiced the role of Juggernaut - the giant, unstoppable mutant held in the ICE Box's dungeons that's befriended by Russell. Speaking with Polygon, screenwriter Rhett Reese explained that Juggernaut is  "a man of few words and a temper and he expresses himself through kind of murderous physicality... We thought we could take full advantage of CGI to make him the powerful force of nature that he really deserved to be and wasn’t in earlier movies."

Let's not forget that Vinnie Jones played Juggernaut in the laughable X-Men: The Last Stand and was, well, not very good. The way Juggernaut was introduced in Deadpool 2, however, really was befitting the character's legacy and made him seem less like a character and more like a force of nature - so Reynolds voicing him wasn't exactly much of a task, and bringing in someone else to do it would kind of be distracting.

Let's just remind of ourselves of how bad Vinnie Jones' version of Juggernaut was.
