The ever-excellent Paul Rudd is in talks, along with Owen Wilson, to star in the latest romantic comedy from James L Brooks (As Good As It Gets) that has already cast Reese Witherspoon in the lead role. According to Variety, Rudd would play a "white-collar executive vying for Witherspoon's affections, while Wilson would portray a professional baseball pitcher who is also a love interest." Nothing else about the plot has been revealed thus far. Rudd will next be seen with fellow Apatow alumni Jason Segal in the hilarious looking "bromance" I Love You, Man.
