Roseanne Barr, who was fired by ABC following a racist tweet about an Obama Administration government official, has said that she's ''disgusted'' by people supporting James Gunn in the wake of his firing from 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.3'.

In a tweet sent late last night, Barr said that "the same people supported blacklisting me for a joke they didn’t even understand," in reference to Gunn's previous jokes about pedophilia and rape. Naturally enough, Barr isn't receiving a huge amount of support for her point of view, with most people pointing to the fact that Gunn made his jokes over a decade ago and the jokes were in poor taste whereas her so-called joke was made two months ago and was a racial slur from one person to another.

Gunn was targeted by far-right commentators for the director's outspoken criticisms of Donald Trump, with the petition to have him reinstated now close to 240,000 signatures as of writing. It's worth pointing out, as well, that those same far-right commentators have said some pretty reprehensible s*** in the past as well, so who's really in a position to judge anyone? 

Barr, for her part, has swung wildly between remorse and defiance for her tweet that effectively ended her television career, claiming most recently in a bizarre video on her YouTube channel that she thought Valerie Jarrett was white and that she was fired because she voted for Donald Trump.
