We've been quietly impressed with how Robert Pattinson has handled his career post-Twilight; working with the likes of David Cronenberg - having just finished two projects with the cult Canadian favourite, Maps to the Stars and Cosmopolis - and carefully picking more character driven fare and as a result gaining strong critical notices.
Now he'll get to work with none other than Robert De Niro, in a thriller for helmer Olivier Assayas called Idol’s Eye.
Assayas just worked with Pattinson's Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart in Clouds of Sils Maria.

According to Screen International, plot details are being kept under wraps, but it's described as a "sophisticated heist action/thriller."
