The title for Spider-Man's next big screen reboot has two meanings for Marvel.
The first deals with the fact that this Peter Parker will be in High School and will have to deal with everything being a superhero while still in High School entails. The second is that this will be the first Spider-Man movie made by Marvel. Peter Parker has come home to where he was created.
The deal that Marvel made with Sony to allow them to make future Spider-Man movies meant that Spider-Man could appear in the MCU for Captain America: Civil War and now it also means that other MCU heroes can appear in standalone Spider-Man movies. The first of which will be Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark/Iron Man.
What involvement the genius/billionaire/playboy/philanthropist will have in the story is unknown but we doubt the producers would fork out for Robert Downey Jr. to appear without having him suit up.
Michael Keaton had reportedly been in talks to play the villain in the movie but Deadline are now reporting that this is no longer the case.
You'll get to see Iron Man and Spider-Man's first play date in Captain America: Civil War when it is released next week.
