The much-publicised feud between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson on the set of Fast & Furious 8 really isn't showing any signs of stopping.

Just last night, Dwayne Johnson posted on - where else - Instagram about wrapping filming on the troubled production and thanked his many co-stars and crew on the film. Who did he leave out?

You guessed it - Vin Diesel.

Although Johnson rowed back some of his early comments and never specifically named Diesel, there's definitely been an air of hostility between the two and this latest part is only adding fuel to the fire. So, let's actually break this thing down. Say, for example, on the press tour or on the set of the eventual Fast & Furious 9, Johsnon and Diesel lose the plot and decide to swing for one another. Who would realistically win?

Finished strong and on to the next. That's an officially wrap on #FastAndFurious8. Thank you to our director @fgarygray for the vision and execution. Thank you UNIVERSAL for being tremendous partners as always, thank you to all my fellow co-stars for the daily effort and grind. Scott Eastwood you handsome sumbitch! Natalie Emmanuel I have a cold Budweiser ready for you and Tyrese Gibson you still have the biggest smile and forehead I've ever seen.😂 And a huge THANK YOU to our hard working production crew - the backbone of our business. Your kind words meant a lot to me last night - thank you! In the end, we all rallied, as great teams do, kicked ass and will deliver an amazing movie to the world. Proud of our entire FAST FAMILY. And now in two weeks I'll reunite with ol' friends Kevin Hart & Jack Black and we have the honor to introduce a whole new generation to the amazing world of #JUMANJI. *(for the record we are NOT making a reboot, but rather a continuation of the awesome JUMANJI story). It's also crazy to me how much me, Kev and Jack look like triplets when we're together. ðŸ'¶ðŸÂÂ?½ðŸ'¶ðŸÂÂ?»ðŸ'¶ðŸÂÂ?¿. Man this is gonna be FUN. #WheelsUp #ThatsAWrap #FromFastAndFurious #StraightIntoJumanji #BigBrownBaldTattooedMan #DarkChocolateComedicRockStar #BrillaintCrazyCurvyCaucasion #TheseHashtagsAreRidiculous #INeedSleepAndCARBS #ButIWillSettleForTequila

Let's look at their statistics, to start off with. Dwayne Johnson is 44 years old, 6'5 and comes from a family of professional wrestlers. While it's true, yes, that wrestling is scripted, there's nobody out there that would think The Rock isn't able to handle himself.

Vin Diesel is 49 years old, 5'11 and grew up on the streets of New York and only came into acting after he broke into a theatre with the intent of vandalising it. Before becoming an internationally-recognised actor, Diesel worked as a bouncer in many of New York's most well-known night clubs.

Johnson's got the height advantage and, of course, the fact that he was a professional wrestler for many years. Has he had much experience in an actual fight, however? There's certainly nothing recorded on it, nor has he been caught fighting with photographers or the like. It's not to say he wouldn't be able to fight back, it's more that he doesn't have the experience.

The fact that Vin Diesel worked as a bouncer for several years does put him over Johnson. Diesel would undoubtedly have more actual fights under his belt as a bouncer than Johnson ever would in the ring. Let's not forget, also, that Diesel is much smaller than Johnson and could, presumably, move faster than him.

While Johnson might have the power because, come on he's built like a brick sh**house, Diesel would have the speed and real-world experience.

Our verdict? Bet on Diesel.
