Ireland has a rich history of working in animated films, from the early '80s and Sullivan-Bluth all the way up to the Oscar nominated Cartoon Saloon and Song of the Sea.
Moe Honan is a producer who's worked extensively in the field of animation. Her latest project, Two By Two which is out on DVD and in stores now, is now the highest grossing Irish production of the year and is due for wide release across the States under the title, All Creatures Big And Small. As well as this, Moe also runs Moetion Films, her own production house.
We talked to Moe about her experiences working in the animation industry, Ireland's key advantages in the field of animation and what the future of the industry is. Moe also talked about her own experiences as a woman in a field that is typically dominated by men and how she came to animation herself.
