Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe founded many years ago, and in a reasonably short space of time, has grown to become the largest indigenous film house in Ireland.
With their latest effort, Room, winning a string of awards on the festival circuit and heavily tipped to scoop both Golden Globe and Oscar glory, Element Pictures' fortunes are on the rise.
We spoke to Ed Guiney firstly about Room and how the film came to fruition, how Element chooses its projects, the future of television and cinema and what's next in store for productions.
