One of Disney's first ever animated features, 'Pinocchio', is their latest to get the live-action reboot treatment.
It is separate from the (probably much darker) 'Pinocchio' project that Guillermo del Toro is working on for Netflix.
The latest additions to the Disney movie include Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Cynthia Erivo.
Gordon-Levitt will play Jiminy Cricket while Academy award nominee Erivo is playing the Blue Fairy.
Here's hoping that means we'll be hearing the Blue Fairy sing, as Erivo (having kicked off her career on Broadway) has a stunning voice.
They join Tom Hanks, who plays Gepetto, because who would be a better fit, really.
He's been attached to the project since 2018, so the remake has been a while coming.
Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, who played Miles in the Netflix series 'Haunting of Bly Manor', is voicing Pinocchio.
Other cast members include Keegan-Michael Key as Honest John (the fox), Luke Evans as the villainous Coachman, and Lorraine Bracco as new character Sofia the seagull.
Robert Zemeckis of 'Back to the Future' fame is directing.
The film will feature a combination of live-action and CGI effects.
'Pinocchio' will debut on Disney+.
