More information trickles in for the highly-anticipated eighth instalment of the Star Wars franchise.
In this month’s issue of Vanity Fair, a cover shoot revealed a closer look at various characters we have met before, including Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Kylo Ren, Finn and.
Captain Phasma has been revealed without her mask and even more excitingly, we got a sneak peek at Laura Dern and Benicio del Toro’s characters, who’ve been kept very m Reyuch under wraps.

According to director Rian Johnson, Del Toro plays a "shady character of unclear allegiances", fondly known on set as DJ (“You’ll see—there’s a reason why we call him DJ,” said Johnson).
Dern, meanwhile, plays "a prominent officer in the Resistance named Vice Admiral Holdo." Little else is revealed about the two characters but it’ll have to be enough to go on for now.
