The marketing team behind The Emoji Movie came under fire today after they sent out an image parodying the Hulu series The Handmaid's Tale.
The since deleted tweet featured and emoji wearing the handmade's robe featured in the Elizabeth Moss starring series.
Given the repressive nature of the show and the source material on which it is based, many were angered by the post and took to Twitter to express their annoyance.
