It was a great weekend for Patty Jenkins.
Not only did her film, Wonder Woman, hold on to the top spot at the US box office for the second week in a row, but she also learned of the impact the film is having on younger viewers.
Jenkins took to Twitter to share a note she'd received that was written by a kindergarten teacher. The teacher noted just some of the best Wonder Woman related incidents that happened in her class within a week of the film being released.
My producer just sent me this... ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! This makes every hard day worth it. Thank you to whomever wrote it!! pic.twitter.com/3DzIaMueIh

Jenkins broke the record for the highest opening weekend gross for a female director last week and although we bet she was thrilled about that, we reckon it's stories like these that are the real reward for her hard work in bringing the film to the big screen.
Here's hoping she signs on the dotted line for Wonder Woman 2 soon.
