Oooh, this is a bit exciting. A new shot from the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer, showing some of the film's main characters, has been released.

The pic (below) shows the moody-looking superhero group - Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) among them - gathered at Tony Stark's tower for a meeting.

The newest installment in the Marvel franchise is released in late April and the storyline follows the Avengers banding together (along with new characters Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver) to save the world from villain Ultron, voiced by James Spader.

New artwork featuring characters Ultron and Vision has also been released, and can be seen below.
