The first ever Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts is to have a biopic made of his life.
The film will be called One Chance, and will be directed by the man behind The Devil Wears Prada and Marley and Me, David Frankel. That news of the helming attachment is really surprising, as he's an American director very much known for his overtly commercial work, and has actually just wrapped Jack Black starrer, The Big Year. Not that it's an alternative tale by any means, just it's very much a British one. I wonder if Black can do a Welch accent, he can certainly sing...
According to Deadline.com Frankel is extremely keen on the project and wants to make it his next film, with shooting to begin in March, probably in Wales.
