We were rather disappointed to hear that all the Bond men wouldn't be reuniting on stage at this year's Oscars, but sure weren't we only delighted when 007's number one women popped up instead eh? Nothing like a bit of Gooooldfingah to bring a touch of sparkle to proceedings.
Former Bond babe Halle Berry sashayed (yes, girl got swagger) on stage to introduce a video tribute to 50 years of Bond in motion picture before Dame Shirley Bassey brought the house down with her Goldfinger classic. Even Quentin Tarantino was loving a bit of Shirley so he was. It was rather fitting then, that the latest Bond diva, Adele, picked up the gong for Best Song.
Our favourite English woman performed Skyfall live for the first time on the eve, before picking up her very first Academy Award. And, would you believe, it was only Dame Shirley's first time to perform at the ceremony too? Ah well girls, sure You Only Live Twice...
