In MORE disappointing movie news today (first Toy Story 4, now this) it appears the actors who we've grown up watching save the world against a barrage of gold-toothed villains will not be reuniting to mark the 50th anniversary of James Bond at the Oscars.
Though it was never confirmed by Oscar producers, we were all lead to believe that as the Academy paid homage to half a decade of Bond, we'd get to see Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig all together on the one stage. Then came the rumours that Sean connery wouldn't be involved, what with his dodgy history of not getting on with Bond producers.
Now, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have denied that any of it will happen. Speaking to Deadline, however, it seems all is not entirely lost; they've still got something up their sleeve. "It's something else, something very unique and very exciting, but no, we're not getting the Bonds together".
Guess we'll have to wait til Sunday to find out!
